I say Diggers of the Grave

The very first thought that came to my mind before the play had begun was that  it was terrifying. Kinda scare you to death and kinda move you out to your seats. Thinking also that the story evolves on those ghosts, I thought that the very highlight of the play were the ghosts but I stand corrected. The play was like the water from the stream, the flow was continuous. Flowing freely until it goes where it should be heading to. No climax,no summit in other words. With the ending, a number of students said "aii mao na to" .. The WOW moment was not there. The actors and actresses had low quality of voice. The audience could hardly understand what they were trying to say.. "were they French or Greeks" haayy.. I do not know either. But considering the fact that they were not an English majors and the field was not their specialty, I admire them a lot. Upon watching the play, I was intrigue on reading the original story itself. The production was awesome. The cinematography was great. The staff and crews did a great job. The introduction was fabulous. I felt the urge to continue to watch the play by the fact that I love mysteries.

Overall, what they did was a job well done.

* 2.ABEO Prime "The Twelfth Night"

Wonderstruck, spectacular, impressive were few of the words that the play the “Twelfth Night “ be describe of. We were so lucky to have Ian Jacob to be the leading actor and of course the whole ABEANS team who participated for the success of the play. The play was marvellous. From rating one to ten I would give them the perfect ten..
The audience could not predict the flow of the story. Very far from my expectation because personally, I thought it was boring. It’s the reverse indeed! The concept was very organized. The actors and actresses acted as professionals. Although there was a wardrobe malfunction as my blockmates had said. I didn’t detect it because the show went on. They acted normally.
Olivia was very beautiful. Her characteristic suits to her personality. She sophisticated, flirt but hard to get. Viola also known as Cesario was so cute, she was determined, whatever it takes, whatever may happen inorder  to win the heart of Orsino. Orsino on the other hand is so insensitive. She never feel the love of Viola for him. She was blinded with the stunning beauty of Olivia whom was inlove with Viola (cesario). Hayy! That was how love worked. We could picture out how love was a very complicated thing.
The role of Viola (Cesario) was the role I love most. She was very versatile. She would also do everything for love. Maybe that was what love is, you get fooled, crazy but you don’t care. You don’t care about the people’s opinion they were not you and the love is yours alone. For as long as you had the feeling nothing can stop you from doing impossible things.  Also from the lights to the synchronization of the flow of the play, all were fine. Credits to the director, staffs and management they all deserve a big hand.
Over all, the Php.50.00 was worth it. I am proud that we belong here in this curriculum, the AB English. Although we were not in the play, but the success of the other ABEANS were also our success.

*1. Reaction Paper on the IPAG show

Theatrical play suits me. The down-to-earth love relationship of Romeo and Juliet to the magical voice of Kim in Miss Saigon that made a standing ovation was really entertaining. It was not my first time witnessing such great talents of IPAG so I'm expecting more satisfying my Php.100 coming from my allowance.

"Tatlo sa Isa" is all about the three groups of people residing in Mindanao namely Lumads, Christians and Muslims. Traditions, cultures and the way of life can be seen in the show. Even how the courtships done of the different groups were portrayed.

The introduction number was very astonishing. We the audience were dumbstruck on the production. It was so great. The alluring costumes of the characters prevailed. The beauty of the epic was unexplainable. The only thing I observed is the setting,it was not appropriate. It was much better if the atmosphere was compact so that the attention of the audience would not shift to other thing but, I appreciated so much their effort.

Dance as the medium used were very risky specially when the play was pantomime but they did it very well. The message they try to convey was vivid. The blending of the sways of their hands and body together with the beats of musical instruments were fantastic. the stunts were really practice, but I think the very main dish they tried to inculcate to the minds of the audience was the importance of working together as ONE. Yes, it was common but sad to say we never learn from this. "Felimon" also play a big part. He showed not merely the flaws and funny moments this character was but rather taught us important lesson that we should learn.. "Never trick because eventually the bad stuffs you done would eventually comeback hundred times..

Overall all I can say is Thumbs Up..Keep up the good work..
